Health Guarantee:

SMCC's Boxers Breeder  guarantee our puppies to be in good health to the best of our knowledge. We will not refund money or exchange puppy because you have changed your mind for any reason. Puppies my be severely stressed by change in environment. Minor problems such as Diarrhea, Coccidiosis, Wormy Stool, ect. are common and must be treated. These conditions are the responsibility of the Buyer and should be checked by a veterinarian. This also includes Parvo or Corona virus. Minor health problems that can be cured by medication or surgery are not covered by any guarantee. SMCC's Boxers (Scott & Michelle) are not responsible for anything that might happen to the puppy after it leaves their property.


We guarantee this puppy is purebred and registrable with AKC (American Kennel Club). The Breeder guarantees that all vaccinations and dewormings have been given as stated on the SMCC's Boxer Puppy health paperwork. The Buyer has been informed of these and of any future vaccinations and deworming due and will agree to have them done on time. This puppy is guaranteed for 48 hours after the sale against highly contagious diseases and guaranteed for 1 year from the whelping date against fatal and life altering congenital diseases with adversely affects the health of the animal.


We expect the Buyer to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian of their choice within 72 hours (3 days) of delivery/possession of the puppy. If this puppy is found to have a life threatening hereditary congenital defect at this exam, the Breeder must be notified within 24 hours after the exam via phone call. The Breeder will offer a replacement puppy of same quality and price and no money will be refunded, if the Breeder’s veterinarian concurs with the Buyer’s veterinarian findings. The replacement will be subject to availability and agreed upon by both the Breeder and Buyer. This puppy must be returned to the Breeder, along with the AKC Registration Papers and a signed document from the licensed veterinarian stating the defect or problem, within 48 hours of phone call at no expense to the Breeder. The Breeder is not responsible for any veterinarian bills incurred by you, the Buyer.


This guarantee does not include uneven bites, undescended testicles, injuries, fleas, mites, coccidia, giardia, ringworm, kennel cough, hernias, any intestinal worms/parasites internal or external, as they are common in dogs and puppies. There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors such as but not limited to: allergies, thyroid dysfunctions, demodectic mange, cancer, tumors, growths, scabies, mite related illness and other autoimmune disorders which are not covered by this guarantee. There is no guarantee or warranty that the Buyer will be able to show or breed the puppy/dog regardless of show or breeding potentials. This contract supersedes any and all previous agreements. The Breeder will not be responsible for Parvo, Distemper, or Corona Virus or any other contagious disease after 48 hours after leaving SMCC's property/possession, as these are highly contagious diseases and they can be contacted immediately after leaving the Breeder.


If within the first year of whelping date, a life threatening congenital defect is found by a licensed veterinarian, the Buyer must notify the Breeder, via phone call, or email within 24 hours of the findings. The Breeder will offer a replacement puppy of same quality and price and no money will be refunded, if the Breeder’s veterinarian concurs with the Buyer’s veterinarian findings. The puppy must be returned to the Breeder in good condition, other than the specified problem, at the expense of the Buyer along with Registration Papers and Pedigree Papers. A puppy showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as follows: 1. Animal must show the defect by one year of age. Seller must be notified of the problem within two (2) days of the licensed veterinarian's determination and have one (1) report from an unassociated veterinarian stating the same problem and then if my veterinarian finds the same findings the breeder will provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value. No replacement puppy will be given if the puppy/dog has been bred, spayed, neutered, or euthanized without seller's permission. It is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the exact same parents as original puppy. Buyer is responsible for transportation costs to and from the Breeder on a replacement puppy. NO refund, in part or in full will be given.  The Breeder is not responsible for any veterinarian bills or any other expenses acquired by the Buyer. The Breeder will not be responsible for illness or any health problems which are diagnosed after this time period of 1 year from whelping date.


The Breeder does not guarantee against conditions that may or may not be stress related from the delivery, shipping or move to a new home. Any physical problem which is or could be the result of injury is not covered under this guarantee.


In the unlikely event of the puppy’s death in the first year due to a congenital defect, the buyer must pay to have it autopsied to ascertain reason of death. Then a signed document from a licensed veterinarian confirming such an event and cause is required before any action will be taken by the Breeder.  The Breeder will not be responsible for any veterinary or medical bills incurred. The breeder doesn't give refunds all items covered under this guarantee are by replacement only.

Buyers Responsibilities:

The Buyer must have this puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian of their choice within 72 hours (3 days) of delivery. Breeder must be informed within 24 hours (1 days) of examination result by phone or email. Failure to do this will result in the cancellation of this contract. The Buyer  must provide puppy with routine preventive care such as but not limited to...

     1. Annual physical examinations by a licensed veterinarian.

     2. Follow veterinarian guidelines for vaccinations and deworming.


A deposit of $300 must be received to secure a puppy and it is non-refundable. The remaining amount must be paid in full prior to delivery, shipping, or pick-up.  Any and all shipping or delivery costs will be the responsibility of the Buyer. Puppy must be paid in full no less than two (2) weeks prior to shipping date or all monies paid and all claims to the puppy will be forfeited.  Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully and that this contract is in the jurisdiction of the State of Michigan,  in Montmorency County. It is agreed that any legal issues or court proceedings concerning the puppy purchased under this contract will be resolved in Montmorency county, Michigan. This also extends to internet sales across state lines.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. Puppy will be shipped between eight (8) to ten (10) weeks of age. Most will be shipped at eight (8) weeks old, but some need more time and will be shipped later. If the airlines will not allow shipping due to weather, then a refund of the amount collected for shipping will be given to the buyer and the buyer will be responsible for making arrangements to receive the puppy. The Buyer will also be responsible for transportation costs to and from the Breeder should a replacement puppy be necessary.    


This guarantee applies to the original Buyer of this puppy only and is non-transferable to a second party. If the dog is transferred to another owner this contract is null and void.  The Breeder makes no guarantees, expressed or implied, under this contract except as stated above.

 Proper care

Proper care is crucial..Acquiring and reading of the many good resource books available on raising puppies is highly recommended before you receive your puppy or purchase your puppy. Ask your veterinarian which to choose. You must agree to provide for your puppy's good health and security and to keep our guarantee in effect by taking good care of the puppy by providing good nutritious food, proper housing and medical care as directed by a reputable and reliable veterinarian of your choice. A health, worming, and immunization record will be provided to you with your puppy and should be taken to you veterinarian within the first 72 hours after receiving along with your puppy. This puppy has been exclusively fed puppy food and is able to eat it dry. I keep dry food to my puppies available for free feeding through out the day. Plenty of water should be available at all times. Avoid placing the puppy near drafts and provide a comfortable warm safe and very clean environment. Again follow your vets advise on all aspects of care, feeding and vaccinations. This contract will also be null and void if any of the afore-mentioned terms or conditions is not fulfilled.


By signing below, the Buyer acknowledges and agrees that he/she understands this contract fully and that this contract is under the jurisdiction of the State of Michigan, in the county of Montmorency. It is agreed that the place of venue shall be in Montmorency County, Michigan.

NOTE: after reading this contract, please print it out. Fill in your information on the last page at all places marked with an “*” and sign where indicated as “Buyer”. You must send the original signed copy, along with your deposit or full payment.  Once we receive it signed from you, we will fill out the other information and then provide you with a copy of the contract for your personal records. If puppy sale is made when the puppy is of age to leave the Buyers must sign and return contract to me within 1 week (7 days) of the date of sale of puppy or it becomes null and void. By the Buyers signature, the Buyers acknowledges receipt of an informational package which includes care, feeding and health information including the vaccine/worming schedule.
